My Last Moments in Polaris Sakthi Towers Office (Mount Road).

Everyone knows that I am working in Polaris Software Labs. My work place was Sakthi Towers situated in Mount Road. Many of you may not know about sakthi towers, but everyone knows Spencer plaza. My office building was next to Spencer plaza. In my college days, I used to go to Spencer plaza some time. I used to think “It will be nice if I got a job in Polaris”. Polaris is my dream Company. By Luck I got the job in Polaris. It’s all because of God’s grace. I joined Polaris on 25^th Jan 2010. We had the Induction training in Navalur office for 2 weeks and they put me in 4-C team. 4C team was in Sakthi towers. I started working in Sakthi towers from 8^th Feb 2010. After 1 year 9 month, I am shifting back to Navalur office. From 3^rd Oct 2011(Monday) onwards I am going to work in Navalur Office. I am very happy to work in Navalur Office. But I still miss Sakthi Towers Office. I do know whether I will get the happiness and the experience in the Navalur office what I got in sakthi towers office. I would like to work in night shifts. As the last working day in sakthi towers office was EOM (End OF the Month), I got the Night Shift. I was very happy thet I got the night shift in the last day. In the starting of my career, I spend most of the days in Night shifts. When I was in Night Shift in the last day and I remembered the days I spent in this office. I just shared the moments I remembered in the last moments.

Joining in the 4C team was a great fun. When our training batch guys were in the presentation hall, one Project Manager came and explained about the job in 4C team. He said that he needs one guy and the guy should come in Night Shifts in alternate weeks and it’s a production Support. Suddenly I accepted to work in 4C Team. The reason was I want to work in night shift. Because I saw many peope working in Night shifts. I want to know what kind of work people are doing in Night Shift. I was very eager to work in Night Shift. I joined in 4C team only because of the night shift. In the first the PM Mr. Elan introduced my Project Leader Mr. Ebby Geogre. He gave me our product manual. I read half of the manual in the First day. I decided to leave the office by 6:00 PM. I asked permission to my PL and I left the office. In the next couple of days I learned to launch our project. Vineesh and Selva used to do the knowledge Transfer. I learned the project in a couple of days. They provided the Night Shift. For the first one week, Varun used to come in night shifts to provide the guidance. This is how I started my career in the 4C Team in Sakthi towers. In the beginning days I used to come in the Night Shifts for continuous 10 weeks. I used to be alone in my bay. I learned a lot in the night shifts. I started writing sample programs in C language. Selva helped me a lot to write the codes. I used to ask doubts to him frequently.

I remember the treat given by our PM for 7 continuous Winning of matches. We used to play cricket in out bay. As our bay is closed, No one will get disturbed with our play. We played cricket for more than one month. Every day we start the game at 7:00 PM. All the people from our team will play cricket. One day I was with our PM team and we had 7 continuous victories. We asked the treat to him. He accepted and provided the Treat in Senthur Hotel. We had a good dinner with our PM. That’s the first treat I went with our team friends.

The next thing is Cake cutting ceremony for birthdays. I am sure we are going to miss that in Navalur office. We used to celebrate all the team members birthdays. We will collect funds from our team friends and we will buy a Cake and a gift to the birthday baby. The ceremony will be fun. We used to ask the birthday baby to sing the song, to dance and some other activity. The only thing people will not forget is the Sekhar’s birthday ceremony. Our seniors and our PM asked him to sing a song or to dance. He said that he will not do that and he is ready do anything else. So our Senior Varun asked him to cry like a new born baby. Without any hesitation he fell down and started crying like a baby. No one could able to stop their laugh. At the same time everyone was shocked to see that. He is one of the senior in our team. He had 4 years of experience at that time. We used to think about this event in all birthday ceremony.

We used to have Tea break at 12:00 PM. We try to go to Tea at 10to 11 AM. But somehow it will become 12:00 PM. The whole team will go for the tea break in the 3^rd floor canteen. We will have lot of fun in our team. As our bay was closed we used to tease each other badly. Some time we used to crack double meaning jokes also and no other will hear that. So it will a benefit for us, I am sure that we will miss this in Navalur office. Because we don’t have separate bay. All the team people will sit next to us. We will miss the privacy for our team in Navalur office.

We are going to have a new experience in Navalur office. We have many facilities in Navalur office. We have Gym, Table tennis court, Basketball court, Shuttle court and good cafeteria and many more facilities. Hope we will get a good experience in Navalur. But till I miss the Sakthi towers office.

Save money in Federal Tax

Everyone in this world love to make money. People are ready to do anything for money. All of us will work hard to earn money. When people start earning more, they have to pay tax to the government. The tax is calculated on percentage of the income and the tax percentage will vary with the income. Government is providing some tax exceptions to the tax payers for the money they spend for good purpose like charity and for the investment in shares, in investment plans and in loans. Many people will forget to pay the tax on time. They may be in out station or they may stick with some other works. For those people, government is providing federal tax extension to pay the tax. We should pay the tax within the extension date. Before paying the tax, we need to calculate the tax amount to be paid to the government. We can calculate the federal tax with the help of tax auditors. Auditors will calculate the tax with the deductions from the gross salary. The calculations will be accurate and you can save more money in the tax. You can get the advice from the auditors to invest money in the investment plan. When you could not able to pay the tax at time, you will get the extension date for tax filling from the auditors. Pay your taxes within the extension time and avoid late pay fine.

Black Days in my life - Part I

Every man has some heals in their heart. Every success man has struggled hard in some days. Everyone have some black days in their life. I too have some black days in my life. I finished my B.E(CSE) degree in May 2009. Many of my friends got the job in 3, 4 months. Many of them also struggled hard to get the job. I got a nice job 7 months after the completion of my degree. I faced many problems as well as frustrated a lot in those days. 

After the completion of my degree, i had a feel that i will not get a job in the Software industry as i did not know any programming language. I thought of searching the job in the BPO industry or in some other industry. I tried for 15 days in Chennai. As my dad wants me to be with him, he called me every day to come native. I did not want to go to my native place Nagercoil. There are only very few companies that pay us Rs.2000 to Rs.5000 per month for our whole life.

With my dad compulsion, i went to native. With our Church paster's wife reference i attended the interview in Guru Nanak College of Engineering for the post of lecturer in Computer Science Engineering. I went to attend the interview in half minded. I was not really interested in teaching profession at that time. I just went to attend the interview for my father's satisfaction. Finally i did not got selected. My Dad was so sad at that time as i have not get the good job. I was felt ashamed to stay in my home. I want to be out of my home. I want to be in Chennai so that i can manage my own expenses with some small jobs. 

After some days two of my room mates got the job some KPO company. I fought with my dad to allow me to stay in Chennai. My dad also felt bad to keep me there and allowed me to come to Chennai. By the next day i came to Chennai and attended the interview. But unfortunately they did not recruited B.E graduates at that time. I felt very bad at that day. But i did not lose my hope. With hope i attended some other companies. Finally i got a job in a company called X-Treme. It is an marketing company. While recruiting they are making many youngsters fool. While in recruitment they said that company is an Management based company. Within 2 years our salary will be Rs. 2,00,000 based up on our performance.  They said the starting salary will be Rs.16,000. I believed them. They said that they will appoint us as Management Trainee. It is a Cobra Group of Company.They said for the first six months, we have to serve for our nation. So we need to work as a Fund Raiser for C.R.Y  organization. 

With these condition, i joined in that company. After one week, i got to know about the real fact of the company. The company has the business of only with the C.R.Y fund Raising. I was shocked after hearing that from a person. By the Second week the manager confirmed the commission details. The salary they said is not the actual salary. The salary is based up on the fund we are raising to the C.R.Y organization. As the C.R.Y organization is based upon charity, i felt bad to work for commission basis for this charity. But i had no other way, as i have to stay in Chennai, i need some money for my expenses. For the whole month, i got Rs.3500 from that company. But i struggled hard to raise the funds. I have to visit every houses and the shops in all over the Chennai. Some people even will scold. Some people will treat as like thief. For this job i have to start from my room at 7AM in the morning and will reach room at 10PM. I lost my weight of 5KG in one month with this job. I thought it is the time to shift my job. 

In that mean time i got an Offer in IHA as a Trainer. I felt like i got an another importunity in my life. But that too made me mad in later. I will continue my remaining black days in the next part. 

Mankatha at Casino

In our office, all the team mates will watch the new movies after some days. This is the first time we together watched a movie on the Second day. We watched the movie “Mankatha” at “Casino” in Mount road near Richie Street. We totally eight people went for the movie. My office mates booked the ticket for the movie yesterday (31-08-2011) without informing. They informed me after they booked the ticket. We went to 6:30PM show today (01-09-2011).

Mankatha is the most awaited film for “Thala” Ajith Kumar. The film has come after one and a half year release of Ajith’s Asal Movie. This movie had the most expectation. It has many reasons. It is the 50^th film for Ajith. First time Vankat Prabhu has joined with “Thala” Ajith along with his troop.

Thala Ajith

This film is a great treat for the “Thala” Ajith Fans. Everyone has done their job perfect. The film started with 10Km speed and ends with 200Km speed. The First half is little bit boring at some scenes. In the second half the movie goes in high speed. The Movie was do Awsome.

Thala’s introduction and Action King’s introduction was amazing. The screenplay of the movie was amazing. The movie has many twists. The main plus for the movie was the Background Music. Yuvan has proved once again he is the son of Isai Gnani. No doubt, he is the next AR Rahman for the tamil industry.

Thala Ajith’s performance was amazing. No one can do this role this much perfect. Thala is the perfect match for this role. He had done the Anti-Hero kind of role after Vaali.  He was also danced in this movie. The film has the mass of Super star’s movie. The hero role suits for Ajith 100%. No other actor can give this much output for this role. His appearance, the style he showed is perfect for the role.

Mankatha

I liked the dialouge’s “This is my f****** game”, “MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY” , “ Enimae thanniae adika koodathu” and the laugh of Ajith “HA HA HA”. “Thala” also tried to do the comedy in this film and it worked for him. The scene in the train with Ashwin and Vaibhav was a great laugh for the viewer’s when the movie was in series track.

Action King Arjun also did a good role in this movie. I never expect the movie ends like this. It is a great twist and the good ending in this movie.  Ajith’s introduction like “billa” after the death in the climax was fantastic.

Mankatha - Thala Game

It was the great movie of Ajith I ever watched. You can see a new Ajith in “MANKATHA”. Premji, Vaibhav, Manoj, Ashwin, Aravind and all other actor and actress had done a wonderful job in this movie. The movie is all about a robbery of the IPL gambling money. Four people are planning to rob the gambling money from the big DON of the gambling and Ajith pairs with them and rob the money. Everything will get finish in First half. What happened then is the second half. Watch the movie in theatres and don’t ask for the story to any of the friends.

Using My Pink China Mobile after 2 years

Every people will have some sentimental things in their life. I have a sentiment in my life. That's my old Mobile. I am crazy about that mobile.That is the first mobile i bought with the multimedia options. I bought that mobile when i was studying my B.E. I bought the mobile from Richie Street. 

When i bought that mobile i was in third year. That is the time the china and Korean mobiles are so popular in India. They provided many features at low cost. Many people started buying china mobiles. They only introduced the Dual SIM phone in India. It became very popular in the college students. Many students will use 2 SIM cards. One for free messages and the another one to make calls. They used to Switch the SIM cards in the mobile. But the Dual SIM card, the work was so easy. They did not want to swap the SIM. For the above said reason i bought the Dual SIM mobile phone. 

I bought the Dual SIM phone for Rs.3500. First day i went to Richie street and bought one phone. When i reached my room i found the mike is not working. I called to the shop owner and said the mike in the phone is no working. He told that he will replace with another phone. I went to that shop by next day and bought this Pink color phone. From that time i like my phone. The mobile have dual SIM card slot, memory card slot, camera, audio player, video player and games.

It was very easy to handle the phone. The phone has both Touch and type. I used the mobile for 2 years. I used to hear songs at all the times in that phone. Most of them in my class liked the phone.Not only in the class, in my office also many people liked the phone. Especially many girls liked that phone because of the color. The only fault is, the mobile has the Invalid IMEI Number. At the time of getting the Valid IMEI number from the government i did not bought the IMEI number. I bought the IMEI number after six months. I kept the mobile in my house for some days. The Charger got damaged. I got the new charger when i went to native. I gave the mobile to one of my friend in my office. He damaged the charger and the phone was unused for more than six months.

He gave the mobile to me few days back. To use the mobile i need to change the charger and the battery. Again i need to go to the Richie street to get the charger and the battery. I roamed in Richie street for more tan 1 hour and i did not found the charger. Finally in one shop they said they can patch the Nokia battery for my phone. I did that for Rs.180. I got the charger for Rs. 60.

A Girl at KFC, Spencer Plaza

Every Friday I used to go to the Planet Yumm or the Akshya food court in spencer plaza to have the lunch. We used to eat in the Multi cuisine hotels. Some days we go to the Thalapakattu biriyani hotel. Most of the many people from our team will go together. Some days very few of us will go there.

Today me and my friend Siva Sankar went to Wangs Kitchen in Planet Yumm.  Next to our table two girls and two boys were eating in the KFC. Two girls and one boy are foreigner. One guy is from India. Everyone looks rich. Hope they were studying in same college and they might have come for vacation. We ordered in the Wangs Kitchen and we were waited to get our order.

Four of them eating in the KFC had their food and washed their hands. One girl from that troop has got our attention. Not because of her beauty (Of-course she is pretty), it’s because of her attitude. She cleaned the table. She took all the plates, cool drink bottles, tissue papers and she was about to put the wastages to the dust bin. At that time the cleaning boy took the plate and he cleaned the table. At the mean time one of her friend had wasted the food. She was holding the plate having the wasted food and her face shows that she felt bad to waste the food. I was wondering even in the rich family, people are they with good culture and with good behaviours. I was really impressed by that girl. Her parents are really good. They grow up the girl with discipline. I had bad impression about the rich people and the people from the rich countries like USA, UK. I thought the people from that country will do the macho kind of things in-front of others. But she changed my mind. She showed that some good peoples are also there in the rich people society. Her parents will really get proud of her.

KFC Chicken

We were in India. Have you ever felt of cleaning the table at the restaurant where we had the food or do you even arrange the plates in the table? We will leave all the as such in the table in the treat occasions. I am not asking to clean the table. Just arrange the dish plates so that it will be easier for the cleaners to clean the plates. Today after I saw the girl, I did the same thing. I arranged the dish plates and came. Not only in the hotels. Please don’t split on the road and don’t throw the waste in the roads. Try to keep our home and street clean. If everyone kept our home and street clean, whole India will be clean.
